November and December were two very good and busy months.
I rehearsed with Chris Birkett at his studio for our show at the Linsmore Tavern in Toronto. The show was awesome. Such great crowd reaction when I performed, for the very first time, my new single “The Frontline”. Afterwards, I was interviewed by Shannon who had booked me for the show. I really liked being interviewed. You can listen to it here https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_rS2HNRrEj0
I performed at the 4th Annual Fundraiser for Bands For Brothers In Arms in Scarborough. It was a great evening. An article was written about this event. You can read it here https://beachdanforth.snapd.com/event/890075#/
My song “The Frontline” won Best Hard Rock Song in The Akademia Music Awards!!!
In December, I did my Christmas cards, went shopping and wrapped the gifts to put under the tree. We didn’t have time to put up our big Christmas tree this year, so I put up my little tree next to the fire place.
Thank you to everyone who voted for my song “The Frontline” in the Coast 2 Coast contest. I WON!!! Thank you so much for all your love and support!
We had lots of people coming over throughout the month. It was nice reuniting with family and good friends. My mom has an All Girls’ Dinner party every year for her friends and my father takes care of all of us. The 2015 dinner was a lot of fun. It was an evening for old and new friends to get together and celebrate.
Christmas Day! I woke up early to open the gifts in my stalking as I do every year. Later in the day, my aunt and my grandparents came over. We skyped with family overseas. We then opened our Christmas gifts and had dinner. It was a very fun and exciting day. I can’t believe that we had no snow for Christmas. The weather was unbelievable, so warm.
New Year’s Eve! We celebrated New Year’s Eve with my aunt and grandparents. My parents and I stayed up late to watch the ball drop at Times Square.
Happy New Year!!! Wish you all the best in 2016!!! Make all your dreams come true!!!
